S02 E21 – Becoming #1

• Flashbacks about how Angel become a vampire, how he met Drusilla, how his soul has been restored and the first time he saw Buffy

A flashback shows Angel, still human, when he meets Darla and asks her to show him the world, her world; she turns him into a vampire.
In another flashback, Angel, vampire, meets Drusilla – a pure, devout human. Angel immediately begins to torture her phychologically.
Later, the gypsies restore Angel’soul after what he survives without killing human, feeding on rats and full of culpability. A demon called Whistler come to him and show him Buffy, who just learned her destiny. He decides then to help her.

In the present, Buffy feels ready to kill Angel but Willow and her find a floppy disk with a formula to restore Angel’s soul. The gang understands that Miss Calendar was trying to do this and that it’s why Angelus killed her. Willow thinks she can cast the spell.

In the same time, an archeologist has found a ancient rock and ask Riles to expertise it. Drusilla see the rock in a vision and steal it: it’s Acathla, a way to destroy the word. Kendra’s watcher have seen the danger and have send her to Sunnydayle.
